Strategic Solutions Architect

autolomous.com  – Join us on our mission to make life-saving therapies accessible to everyone!

The Opportunity

We are entering a defining chapter in our growth — and this role sits at the very heart of it. We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Solution Architect to become the first of its kind here at Autolomous.

This is not simply a role — it is a responsibility. You will be the main bridge between technology, product, and commercial strategy to champion configuration over customisation, interoperability by default and enable expansion across various domains and markets.

About Autolomous

We are the market-leading developer of critical manufacturing management systems for advanced therapies.

Our platform, autoloMATE®, integrates siloed manufacturing data into one unified digital ecosystem. By streamlining operations, reducing cost and increasing transparency, we enable manufacturers to accelerate the delivery of advanced therapies to patients who urgently need them.

The patient is at the heart of everything we do. They are our inspiration and our ultimate beneficiary. Our mission is clear: to make life-changing cell and gene therapies accessible to everyone. The path is complex, but through collaboration, courage and innovation, we are driving a global shift that will make these astonishing medicines the norm rather than the exception.

Your Mission

As a Strategic Solution Architect, you will:

  • Define modular, composable architecture- Design discrete, reusable service components that can be assembled in different configurations to ensure that a solution built for one client becomes a functional “block” available for the entire ecosystem.
  • Align platform with growth strategy- acting as the bridge between what we can build and where the market is heading.
  • Lead solution design across clients- No two client workflows are identical. You are the lead architect responsible for addressing the “Big Picture.”
  • Enable interoperability- You will architect the “connective tissue” of the digital facility and design robust strategies and data mapping protocols to ensure seamless integration between our platform and other systems.
  • Establish governance, standards and best practices across – You will help define the “Rules of the Road” for how we build and integrate. Creating high-level design documents and architectural decision records whilst setting the standards for code quality, security, and data integrity.
  • Support commercial expansion and pre-sales- Partner with sales to demonstrate technical credibility to key stakeholders and quickly assess if a prospect’s requirements are achievable within our current architecture and identify the gaps.

What we’d like from you:

  • Proven experience in solution or platform architecture.
  • Experience designing scalable, modular systems.
  • Strong understanding of system integration.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., Life Sciences, healthcare) is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or similar).
  • Experience or strong awareness of AI technologies and their application within enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions, including client-facing work.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills.

‘Success’ is defined by:

  • Increased reuse of modular components.
  • Reduction in time it takes to deploy new clients.
  • Improvements in integration speed and reliability.
  • Adoption of architecture standards across teams.
