Autolomous appoints Chief Business Officer to increase rollout of digital orchestration solutions for CGT and wider biopharma sectors

London, UK, April 21, 2026Autolomous, a developer of critical manufacturing management systems for advanced therapies, today announces the appointment of Alexa Craciunescu as Chief Business Officer.

Autolomous has appointed a new CBO role to address increasing demand for its digital orchestration solutions from an expanded group of organizations. These include organizations across the cell and gene therapy and advanced therapy sector, but also increasingly from wider life science organizations ranging from biopharmaceutical companies to blood centers, laboratories and healthcare institutions.

This increased demand is in part due to the convergence of advanced therapies and wider biopharma drugs in combination therapies. However, it is also as a result of the increasing need for digitalization for the wider biopharma and drug development sectors.

Autolomous has reached a stage where growth is no longer driven solely by product innovation, but by the ability to scale commercially across multiple markets and customer segments. The CBO role will therefore ensure a cohesive commercial focus that can support this expansion while maintaining the organization’s strategic focus and execution discipline.

To continue to meet this increased level of demand, Autolomous has internally appointed Alexa Craciunescu as Chief Business Officer, from her previous position as VP of Product Commercialisation. Alexa has worked with Autolomous for six years, and has already been instrumental in shaping Autolomous’ commercial strategy, establishing key partnerships across biopharma and healthcare providers, and driving product design aligned with global regulatory requirements.
