autoloMATE® is the digital platform supporting the entire life sciences workflow, developed by Autolomous in a phased approach:
- The first phase consists of autoloMATE® eBR, which digitises batch records, eliminating the need for vast amounts of paper.
- The second phase introduces autoloMATE® CLOCK, which enables the scale-up and acceleration of operations by digitising all aspects of scheduling.
- The third phase is autoloMATE® Assist, which supports the review and release of medicines and health products by digitising quality approval.
- autoloMATE® ELN provides a fully digital electronic lab notebook, replacing paper-based records and streamlining data capture across laboratory workflows.
- autoloMATE® Inventory enables full visibility and management of materials, equipment and samples across facilities.

The autoloMATE® platform is engineered to facilitate adherence to global regulatory and accreditation standards. Through technical design and rigorous validation, our platform ensures compliance with electronic record and signature requirements mandated by the US FDA (21 CFR Part 11), the UK MHRA, and the EU EMA (Annex 11) for the advanced therapies sector. To ensure electronic records maintain the same reliability as paper-based systems, the platform integrates four foundational pillars:
- Electronic signatures: Captures signatory names, time stamps, and formal intent (e.g., authorship or approval).
- Immutable audit trails: Employs ledger technology to generate secure, time-stamped logs of all system entries and modifications.
- Role-based access controls: Enforces role-based permissions and user-group segregation to restrict data access to authorized personnel.
- Data retrieval: Enables the generation of accurate, human-readable records (e.g., PDF) for regulatory inspection and long-term retention.

Autolomous is open to building new relationships across the life sciences industry. From development and clinical trials through to commercialisation, the autoloMATE® platform is designed to scale alongside organisations at every stage of their journey. To learn more about working with Autolomous, please reach out via the Contact page.

Autolomous was founded with cell and gene therapy at its heart, a field we know deeply and where we have built a strong and growing track record. From the very beginning, autoloMATE® was designed and developed with flexibility at its core. Rather than building a rigid, single-purpose tool, we architected a platform that could adapt to different workflows, data structures, and operational needs.

That flexibility is what has enabled us to expand our offerings to organisations across all therapy areas and service categories. autoloMATE® works for life science organisations because it was built to, and they benefit from the same integrated, digitised supply chain ecosystem that our CGT customers rely on.

Security is paramount to Autolomous and we aim to use best in class security practices where this is practically possible. To this end, we have implemented a passphrase security system that is practical, secure, and future-proof. The platform also supports email-based 2FA in order to work with clean room environments where computers are shared and mobile phones are not allowed. The autoloMATE® platform uses blockchain to immutably store data and ensure provenance. As such, our solution allows users to access a reliable, complete, and searchable audit log of all processing events. Personal and sensitive data is encrypted using the secure AES-256 encryption standard. Autolomous has achieved ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 27001:2013 certification, further demonstrating the company’s dedication to the highest level of conformance with quality and security standards.
